Dissapointing room

Location!!!

All the yellow & black lady birds room was infested as soon as we moved them out another family of them arrived, the hotel must of know before we informed them as room had signs of fumigation white lines all around furniture etc...also room was very dark need more lamps/lights stayed here before but in shalets & to be honest was better that actual hotel

Ouch. Still living with it. And it hurts. And required a hospital visit and oramorph!

The staff were lovely, the reception beautiful, the area gorgeous.

The balcony was filled with cigarette butts. The bathroom was dated and very, very small. I couldn’t get in the shower/bath where the grips were and as a result slipped and fell breaking two ribs, bruising the whole left side of my body, and a huge lump on my head. The dining facilities were very limited and the food very average. Though again I will say that the staff were lovely.

Disappointing

Anoop was brilliant and very friendly and accommodating. But Peter the operation manager was rude and unprofessional I told him I had a crack on the window pane that was very draughty and he taped it for me. I mentioned that this was a breach of health & safety as it’s dangerous.This room should not be let whilst it has major defects and he said he will sort something out for me in morning to compensate my rather tumultuous 40 wedding anniversary At check out the receptionist said he had left a message that we didn’t want to change the room which btw we had just moved into that afternoon hence we refused as we just wanted to enjoy our anniversary.

Had lovely meal in restaurant and drinks in the bar. Staff were very pleasant and chatty made us welcome.

Stayed in a chalet for one night during Xmas break. Accommodation was basic but adequate. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Two double beds were clean and comfortable. The room was warm and had a tv on wall. Tea and coffee making facilities and comfy chairs and table.

Chalet needs updating bit tired.

Great as a cheap one night pit stop

Refurbished bar and restaurant. Food and drink at low prices. Really friendly staff.

The rooms are yet to be refurbished but the price reflects this. They are however clean but we had a cracked sink and threadbare carpet.

Room was a bit run down.

Ideal location for us. Staff we spoke to were pleasant. Reception area was nice.

Our chalet needed work, the blinds were old and tatty. The shower didn't work properly meaning it was unusable. Mattresses weren't great. Towels and linen were clean but parts of the chalet were not.

Dec 1st stay

Most of the staff were very young and seemingly quite inexperienced but were keen to try and do their best for us. Reception is done to a great standard.

The hotel has ongoing work being done, the reception area looks great but is freezing cold, even the staff were walking round with big coats on. Once you leave the reception area and go to the stairs to rooms it's clear that part hasn't been touched, the carpet is very old and not clean I didn't think. My room 117 was OK apart from the shower head which honestly looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was also wall lights in the room but noswitch to put them on Breakfast area was freezing with tiny fans blowing like warm air, there were no staff in there to ask for breakfast and we then found two young lads who then took our order, there were 6 of us in 4 rooms but there didn't appear to be anyone else staying there as we didn't see any other guest while we were there which was odd.

La taille de la chambre

Vétuste, bruyant le personnel de l’hôtel un peu « fort » en voix, le petit déjeuner vraiment minimum, et dans la chambre la baignoire super glissante donc dangereuse, aussi tous ce qui est accessoire, savon, shampoing, tout ce qu’on attendrai d’un 4 étoiles n’y est pas. C’était aussi le minimum

« Très bon rapport qualité prix , personnel sympa,, mais il manque les glaçons! lol! »

Petit déjeuner super. Accueil super , emplacement au calme.

Absence de glaçons au bar! Boire une vodka ou un whisky chaud c'est pas top ! une machine a glace serait indispensable!

„Schönes Hotel in guter Lage

Ansprechendes Hotel in schöner Umgebung. Freundliches Personal und schönes großes und sauberes Zimmer mit einem bequemen Bett. Das Essen war lecker.

Uns war nicht bewusst, dass man einen Tisch im Restaurant hätte reservieren sollen. Trotz zeitgleich angereister Reisegruppe wurde uns aber noch ein Tisch organisiert.

„Für par Nächte ist es "OK" aber es gibt bessere Alternativen.

İch musste für Par Tage für eine Schulung Eccleston besuchen. Das Gebäude ist sehr alt.Es wirkt wie ein verfluchtes Highway Motel aus den 70ern. Das Alter kann man riechen und schmecken. Das ist sehr ecklig. Es riecht wie ein verschimmelter nasser Keller. Par Bereiche an den Decken sind Gelbbraun. Die Teppiche sind schmutzig. Sie versuchen zwar das Geruch zu überspielen aber das Problem an sich ist das Gebäude. Mein Zimmer war aber dennoch in Ordnung. Aber im großen und ganzen würde ich es abreisen und was modernes hinbauen. Renovierung allein wird da nicht reichen. Wenn ich nochmal nach Eccleston komme, werde ich mir ein anderes Hotel aussuchen.

„Nettes Hotel für einen Zwischstopp

Nachdem die letzten Bewertungen doch recht schlecht waren, waren wir sehr gespannt, was uns dort erwarten würde. Wir trafen auf sehr nettes Personal und bekamen ein tolles, geräumiges Zimmer. Die Anlage um das Hotel herum war wohl mal ein Schmuckkästchen, ist aber etwas heruntergekommen. Das Hotel selbst war absolut in Ordnung und wir hatten eine schöne Suite. Das Frühstück war ok und das Abendessen war gut. Das Hotel liegt in einer schönen Parkanlage.

Noch sind einige Hausaufgaben zu machen. Fernsehen funktioniert im gesamten Hotel nicht und der Aufzug war außer Betrieb.
