Balcony room with no access to balcony

Location

I booked a superior room with balcony, what looked like used to be a balcony looked over the kitchen roof and air conditioning units and had no access on to it. The door could not be unlocked and had a security lock on it.

Had lovely meal in restaurant and drinks in the bar. Staff were very pleasant and chatty made us welcome.

Stayed in a chalet for one night during Xmas break. Accommodation was basic but adequate. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Two double beds were clean and comfortable. The room was warm and had a tv on wall. Tea and coffee making facilities and comfy chairs and table.

Chalet needs updating bit tired.

It was fine for one night as a stop over on my way north - good value for money very comfy room

didn't have breakfast

Signage to the pool was a bit confusing and there is a lot of building/renovation work going on

Disappointing

Anoop was brilliant and very friendly and accommodating. But Peter the operation manager was rude and unprofessional I told him I had a crack on the window pane that was very draughty and he taped it for me. I mentioned that this was a breach of health & safety as it’s dangerous.This room should not be let whilst it has major defects and he said he will sort something out for me in morning to compensate my rather tumultuous 40 wedding anniversary At check out the receptionist said he had left a message that we didn’t want to change the room which btw we had just moved into that afternoon hence we refused as we just wanted to enjoy our anniversary.

Overall decent stay but requires some improvements

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shampoo and condioner was provided which was great, ironing board was a handy feature too. Little cookies and water on arrival was a nice touch. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was clean as were changing facilities. Sauna and steam room were clean. Restaurant food was lovely. Food and drink not massively overpriced for a hotel.

Restraunt staff were rude - after mains were finished we were completely ignored. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks or desert (which we did) we had already spent £90 so they lost out on a bigger sale. We eventually had to chase them for the bill. Also found out after raddison members get an extra 10% off food and drink, im a member but never was asked if we were members. Room with balcony does not have balcony access you can only look at it through the window. This was a big disappointment. (Dont spend the extra to upgrade not worth it) Room overlooked the courtyard where we could only hear music all night long from a wedding. The room was supposed to have a hairdryer, robes and slippers. There was no hairdryer however reception did sort this fairly quickly. There was only one robe and no slippers (these would have been handy for going to the pool) Had reception absolutely RATTLE on the door around 930pm saying they got a fire alarm alert and wanted to check all the rooms on the floor. Found this a bit strange as no fire alarm went off.

Dissapointing room

Location!!!

All the yellow & black lady birds room was infested as soon as we moved them out another family of them arrived, the hotel must of know before we informed them as room had signs of fumigation white lines all around furniture etc...also room was very dark need more lamps/lights stayed here before but in shalets & to be honest was better that actual hotel

Room was good however was disappointed with the spa. The swimming pool was just a standard pool which was busy and you had to walk out into the waiting area to get to the sauna which could be quite embarrassing for some people and could be a hazard for slipping ect

Ouch. Still living with it. And it hurts. And required a hospital visit and oramorph!

The staff were lovely, the reception beautiful, the area gorgeous.

The balcony was filled with cigarette butts. The bathroom was dated and very, very small. I couldn’t get in the shower/bath where the grips were and as a result slipped and fell breaking two ribs, bruising the whole left side of my body, and a huge lump on my head. The dining facilities were very limited and the food very average. Though again I will say that the staff were lovely.

Great as a cheap one night pit stop

Refurbished bar and restaurant. Food and drink at low prices. Really friendly staff.

The rooms are yet to be refurbished but the price reflects this. They are however clean but we had a cracked sink and threadbare carpet.

Overall it did the job

The family room was good value. Breakfast was reasonable. The decor of the hotel is nice. Overall, the room was clean. The shower was nice and hot. It served the purpose of an overnight stay on a long road trip.

Despite booking a family room, they had not set up the sofa bed (which wasn't ideal as we got there late after a long car journey with very tired kids). And they kept asking us if we wanted it set up - 4x of us can't sleep in one double, so yes, we want it set up!! It then took quite a while to actually get sheets for the sofa bed. Upon opening the sofa bed, it released someone's else's dirty sock! The shower gel was empty, and they'd only given us 2x towels for 4x people.

Dec 1st stay

Most of the staff were very young and seemingly quite inexperienced but were keen to try and do their best for us. Reception is done to a great standard.

The hotel has ongoing work being done, the reception area looks great but is freezing cold, even the staff were walking round with big coats on. Once you leave the reception area and go to the stairs to rooms it's clear that part hasn't been touched, the carpet is very old and not clean I didn't think. My room 117 was OK apart from the shower head which honestly looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was also wall lights in the room but noswitch to put them on Breakfast area was freezing with tiny fans blowing like warm air, there were no staff in there to ask for breakfast and we then found two young lads who then took our order, there were 6 of us in 4 rooms but there didn't appear to be anyone else staying there as we didn't see any other guest while we were there which was odd.

Room was a bit run down.

Ideal location for us. Staff we spoke to were pleasant. Reception area was nice.

Our chalet needed work, the blinds were old and tatty. The shower didn't work properly meaning it was unusable. Mattresses weren't great. Towels and linen were clean but parts of the chalet were not.

Bed comfortable rooms clean enough price good breakfast good rooms everything you need but need to have a vehicle

Staff very rude speaking to each other in foreign language then turning around and speaking in English to you stuff made it very complicated to check in key not working left in corridor for 20 minutes to get in room Birmingham would be proud of the amount of bin bags at the back were the refugees are are staying but the next day staff was pleasant and attitude had changed
